Evaluation Society in Bosnia & Hercegovina has the pleasure to invite you to the Balkan Program for Development Evaluation Training - BALDET 2013 that will take place from 22 until 28 April 2013 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The core curriculum of the training follows a successful scheme of the Summer school IPDET (www.ipdet.org), organized annually by Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
BALDET 2013 will be provided in English by top lecturers Ms. Linda G. Morra Imas and Mr. Ray C. Rist, the President of IDEAS (International Development Evaluation Association), which is an independent association of evaluation professionals. The training is recommended for evaluators and managers of development projects and programs. The training is recommended for evaluators and managers of development projects and programs.
The training graduates will obtain Certificate of the IPDET.
The all-inclusive participation fee is 1080 EUR. Please note that we are working on to provide several scholarships. After the initial registration, all registered participants will be able to apply for a limited number of scholarhips secured by the donors. The criteria for the selection of these scholarships shall be determined by the donors. The fee includes tuition, training materijal, accommodation and board as well as organised transportation from and to Sarajevo. Participants will receive both printed and electronic versions of the training manual and other training material.
Accommodation for participants will be offered in fully equipped single rooms. Full board will be arranged beginning with lunch on 22 April 2013 and finishing with breakfast on 28 April 2013. Transport to the hotel will be organized by hotel mini-bus from Sarajevo on Monday morning (22 April) and the return on Sunday morning (28 April).
